1. Scope of the trial
Seasonal Method provides general educational training programs, nutritional guidelines, estimates, targets, tracking tools, and feedback for voluntary trial use. Miller Human Performance, Seasonal Method, their owner, and any coach or contractor involved in the trial are not acting as your physician, registered dietitian, physiotherapist, psychologist, or other regulated health professional. Nothing in the service diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or rehabilitates any disease, injury, or health condition.
Any training session, calorie or macronutrient target, body-composition pathway, workload estimate, adjustment, alert, or other output is general information—not a guarantee, firm prescription, or substitute for an in-person assessment. You must decide whether it is appropriate for you.
2. Get qualified professional guidance
Before starting or changing exercise or nutrition practices, obtain appropriate clearance and guidance from a physician or other qualified professional if you have an injury, pain, illness, disability, pregnancy, medical condition, medication concern, exercise limitation, or uncertainty about your ability to participate. Seek a registered dietitian and, where appropriate, a physician for food allergies or intolerances, dietary restrictions, nutrient deficiencies, medical diets, supplement use, significant weight change, or other nutrition concerns.
Do not use calorie, weight, body-composition, or food tracking features if you have an eating disorder, a history of disordered eating, compulsive exercise, or if tracking may worsen your physical or mental health. Discuss participation with an appropriately qualified clinician. You are responsible for disclosing relevant limitations and following professional restrictions.
3. Exercise and nutrition risks
Exercise—including strength, speed, power, conditioning, jumping, sprinting, and sport preparation—has inherent risks. These include equipment failure, falls, collisions, overexertion, aggravation of an existing condition, pain, illness, muscle or joint injury, concussion, cardiovascular events, permanent disability, and, in rare cases, death. Nutritional changes and estimates may be inaccurate or inappropriate and can contribute to inadequate intake, excessive intake, dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, altered performance, illness, psychological distress, or worsening disordered eating.
Results are individual and uncertain. No improvement, performance result, body-composition change, injury avoidance, or health outcome is promised.
4. Your responsibilities and emergency safety
You are responsible for providing accurate information; using safe equipment and surroundings; selecting appropriate loads, progressions, technique, assistance, and supervision; following restrictions from your health professionals; and stopping or modifying activity when needed. Stop immediately and seek appropriate medical help for chest pain, fainting, severe shortness of breath, sudden weakness, severe or unusual pain, signs of allergic reaction, or any other concerning symptom. Call local emergency services for an emergency.
The app and coach are not continuously monitoring you and are not an emergency or real-time medical service. A message, log entry, or app alert does not guarantee that anyone will see or respond to it.
5. Voluntary assumption of risk and release
You choose to participate voluntarily and knowingly accept the inherent and reasonably foreseeable risks of using the training program, nutritional guidelines, tracking tools, and related information. You accept responsibility for your choices, participation, compliance, and outcomes, including negative outcomes resulting from your failure to obtain professional advice, disclose a limitation, follow a restriction, use proper technique or equipment, or stop when appropriate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release and hold harmless Seasonal Method, Miller Human Performance, and their owner, coaches, contractors, representatives, and service providers from claims, demands, losses, costs, injuries, or damages arising from or connected with your voluntary trial participation or reliance on the information provided. This acknowledgement does not exclude liability or waive a right, remedy, duty, or protection that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or waived.
6. Trial data
The service stores the account, training, nutrition, body measurement, wellness, and other records you choose to submit so the trial can operate and your coach can review your progress. These records may be sensitive. You can export your records or request deletion through Profile, subject to any lawful retention requirement. Do not enter information you do not want stored or shared with your assigned coach.
